Terra Unveils ‘Six Samurai’ Revival Proposal
Six Terra Classic ecosystem engineers have proposed a ‘Six Samurai’ plan for the complete revival of the blockchain ecosystem. This development comes as some Terra community members seek to emerge from the shadows of disgraced founder Do Kwon and breathe new life into the LUNC ecosystem.
Terra Classic, Terraform Labs’ original network, has remained as an autonomous blockchain rather than transitioning to Terra 2.0, which emerged as a separate version following Terra’s demise. The LUNC tokens on Terra Classic are currently worth $580 million as of Monday, June 26.
Terra Classic engineers, led by Solid Snake and Bilbo Baggins, have submitted a governance proposal for the Terra Classic community, requesting $116,000 for a three-month spend. The proposal includes migration from Columbus-5 to Columbus-6 and an upgrade to the Cosmos SDK. It also includes listing Terra Classic on Keplr’s Web Interface and Mintscan, a block explorer for Cosmos.
