PUBG Creator To Launch NFT Metaverse Game

The creators of the popular battle royale shooter PUBG: Battlegrounds, Krafton, haven’t forgotten about the metaverse. Its envisioned Web3 metaverse game platform, tentatively dubbed Migaloo, is still under development and is now expected to go live this year.

According to a release this week, Krafton and the South Korean augmented reality developer Naver Z established a joint venture company with headquarters in North America and invested $36.6 million in Migaloo’s development.

According to the agreement, Krafton will hold 85% of the company’s stock and Naver Z would hold the remaining 15%.
