3AC’s Su Zhu to Be Released, Singapore Court Trial
Su Zhu, co-founder of the now-defunct Three Arrows Capital (3AC), is set to be released this month after his arrest in September for not cooperating with liquidation efforts.
Zhu also faces two days of questioning in a Singapore court this week, where he must respond to lawyers for liquidator Teneo for the first time. The hearing requires him to respond to details sought by Teneo on behalf of creditors owed $3.5 billion following 3AC’s collapse last year.
The information will be shared with creditors to maximize recoveries. The proceedings are a civil matter, and Zhu hasn’t faced any criminal charges in Singapore. His account began posting on X again on December 1, marking the first time since September 29.
Zhu was apprehended at Changi Airport in Singapore in September and sentenced to four months in prison.
